Uplifters Darren, Alice, Blessing, James, Malik and Zerda last night made their way from Tottenham to Germany. They will spend a week with the Ruhrtiennale’s Mit Ohne Alles.
This visit follows after four youth from the Ruhrtriennale’s Mit Ohne Alles were able to join the Uplifters in London last year. As you can imagine, it has been a hotly anticipated trip for these youth. They will spend the week together workshopping the themes around their shared European futures.
Being able to connect these groups brings with it, the hope of many more collaborations, visits, and long lasting friendships. It is thanks to the ukgerman connection that we were able to connect these groups together.
